In post A of this series, we looked at a breakdown of the types and numbers of those types of armies at the Event Horizon 2012 (Warhammer 40k 5th Edition) tournament. Post B continued this series by looking at the results of the games from Rounds 1 and 2.
Post C now looks at Round 3 and 4, where we’ll see some more solid stats and which armies (and of course their generals) were able to pull off further wins and others not so much 😛

Results Round 3 by army:
The final game for Day 1, with everyone a bit cold and tired from 2 hard fought games, the results are mostly a consolidation of the day’s previous efforts. The main points to note:
1. Chaos Space Marines achieve their first 2 victories after going 0 from 6 in the first two rounds
2. Both Dark Angels forces win this round
% Wins after 3 rounds by army:
With Daemons scoring 3 out of 3 game wins, they lead the tally, blowing away the previous net theories that they aren’t a strong list. Seeing the Fatecrusher list with 4 MCs in it was a scary prospect in my eyes and it seems alot of people didn’t know how to deal with it.
Results Round 4 by army:
The first game for Day 2, game 4 was played with 2-3 players missing from Day 1. Some ring-ins were called in to fill the gaps in the lower ranks and play recommenced. Day 2 was also when the players were put into sub-groups or “Bands”. The players in each band ended Day 1 with similar points and win-loss ratios. They would play each other over the course of Day 2 for fame and glory! (Ok maybe just glory… ok, ok… to win their Band at Event Horizon!). Eldar pick up this round with 2 additional wins and Orks seem to come to life all of a sudden with 1 win on the board. The rest of the results seem to follow the pattern from Day 1 with Blood Angels, Space Wolves and Daemons on top.
% Wins after 4 rounds by army:
You will notice that Blood Angels and Necrons % values jump this round. That is because I’ve removed the stats from the metrics for the players that didn’t play on Day 2 and this upset the gods of Excel… making it look like they’ve won more games than they had played… (Tzeentch trickery no doubt!)
